It seems like everything in America is fast or convenient. Fast food, quickie marts, microwave meals, instant coffee, instant tea, pre-chopped vegetables, and the list goes on and on. Many teachings Jesus are based on the New Testament of the Bible, another God book. Teachings Jesus tell us the same things that other religions believe and go by: the golden rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. In the teachings Jesus he tells us to think of others before we think of ourselves. To always be available to lend a hand, or an ear, to someone in need. Most religious books say about the same thing. This is the rule that would make the world truly go around in harmony. I hope that one day we will be able to live in peace.
